We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with MLOps and a keen interest in credit risk scoring and underwriting ML models. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in developing, deploying, and optimizing machine learning models within a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities:
-Assist in the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models with a focus on MLOps.
-Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to define requirements, develop models, and integrate solutions into production systems.
-Help implement and maintain robust MLOps pipelines to ensure the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of ML models in production environments.
-Support the optimization and fine-tuning of models for performance, scalability, and efficiency in real-world applications.
-Contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive documentation for models, processes, and workflows.
-Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions that drive value.

Skills and Competencies:
-Machine Learning & MLOps: Foundational understanding of developing and deploying ML models in production environments.
-Programming: Strong skills in Python, R, or similar languages, with some experience in ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
-Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with big data technologies and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
-Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges.
-Collaboration: Excellent teamwork skills to work with other stakeholders.
-Communication: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical concepts.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
-Intermediate English proficiency.
-3-5 years of experience in machine learning engineering, with a focus on MLOps.
-Basic understanding of developing and deploying ML models in production environments.
-Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
-Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
-Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
-Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly.
-Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
-Familiarity with basic statistical concepts and data analysis techniques.
-Knowledge of the finance or fintech industry is a plus.

Preferred Skills:
-Interest in Generative AI (GenAI) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
-Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment of ML models.
-Basic understanding of financial applications of machine learning, especially credit risk scoring and underwriting models.
